March 10, 2012

Dear Friend of Casey's House,

This year we are looking to double, even triple the number of cats spayed/neutered through our transport program and we are well on our way.  Just barely into March and already 73 cats have been spayed/neutered via our transport, most of which were female.  Mating season has started and we can't afford to slow down now but we need your help to continue this important service.  Your tax deductible gift of any amount will help us provide the much needed service of low cost spay/neuter to the Northern Virginia area.  Donations can be made online through our secure website or by mail, http://www.caseyshouse.org/donate.html provides links to our paypal online donation or a mail in form that can be printed.  However you wish to support Casey's House, we thank you!

In our end of the year newsletter I told you about a blind cat named Zena who needed an operation to remove one of her eyes that was causing her discomfort.  I am happy to say that she has had her operation and is doing quite well!  She is now listed on our Petfinder website along with other cats in need of their forever home.  Hopefully in our next newsletter I will be able to tell you that Zena has found her forever home!

Lastly and most importantly, please spread the word about our low cost spay/neuter transport!  Too often I hear the words "I wish I had known about your service 5 years and 40 cats ago..."  Please help us make this a better place for our feline friends by helping us stop the plight of homeless and abandoned cats in our area!

Sincerely,
Cindy Ingram
